Eco-Kettle

I took this home to try out with the family, and we thought this is an excellent idea. There are two chambers in the kettle; one chamber is for storage whilst the other chamber is for boiling the water.

One of the many good features is that you only boil the amount of water you require. If you need to fill the boiling chamber you depress the lid of the kettle and it fills from the storage chamber.
Another good design feature is that it is easier to fill than a regular kettle because the storage container remains cold – so no steam!

It is easier to use and more stable when there is an equal amount of water in each chamber. The only downside is that the kettle is heavy when both chambers are full.

    The one we bought was really plastic in construction and burst into flames 3 months after we bought it so I was really unimpressed, though there is no other eco kettle on the market. perhaps the best bet is not to overfil your kettle
